To make the most of your retreat experience, we recommend dedicating at least two weeks to prepare yourself physically and mentally. Prioritize a healthy lifestyle, engage in mindfulness practices, and adhere to any specific dietary guidelines for your chosen plant medicine.

  • Physical and Mental Preparation: Your retreat experience begins before you arrive. Take the time to prepare yourself physically and mentally. Consider dedicating at least two weeks before your retreat to focus on your well-being.

  • Mindfulness Practices: Engage in mindfulness practices such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga to calm your mind and cultivate inner peace. These practices can enhance your receptivity to the healing properties of plant medicine.

  • Dietary Guidelines: Depending on your chosen plant medicine, there may be specific dietary guidelines to follow before the retreat. For example, Ayahuasca has a strict diet that participants must adhere to for optimal results. Be sure to review and follow these guidelines carefully. We offer online dieta coaching for our ayahuasca retreats providing an easy to follow guide to the dieta.

  • Intention Setting: Take time to set your intentions for the retreat. Reflect on what you hope to achieve, what questions you seek answers to, or what healing you aspire to experience. Clear intentions can help guide your journey.

  • Openness and Readiness: Approach the retreat with an open heart and mind, ready to embrace whatever experiences come your way. Trust in the process, and allow yourself to surrender to the healing journey.

Upon your arrival, we encourage you to arrive after 4 pm on Friday but no later than 8 pm. Detailed location information will be provided in an email released on Thursday night before the retreat starts. Look for a visible sign from the road to guide you. Parking is generally available unless specified in the email. After you park, step inside the house, where our staff and fellow guests will welcome you with open arms.

  • Arrival Time: We recommend arriving at the retreat after 4 pm on Friday and no later than 8 pm. Punctuality ensures a smooth start to your retreat experience. If you anticipate being late or need to arrive earlier, please be in communication with us.

  • Location Information: Detailed location information, including directions, will be provided in an email released on Thursday night before the retreat starts. This email will contain essential details to help you find us easily.

  • Guidance for Arrival: Look for a visible sign from the road to guide you to the retreat location. We aim to make your arrival as straightforward as possible.

  • Parking: Parking is generally available unless specified otherwise in the email. Please follow any designated parking instructions if provided. Feel free to park wherever you can find a suitable spot.

  • Warm Welcome: As you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with open arms by our staff and fellow guests. The sense of community and support begins from the moment you step inside the house.

Friday: Arrival and Opening

  • Arrival: Guests are encouraged to arrive after 4 pm but no later than 8 pm on Friday. Please be in communication if you anticipate being late or need to arrive earlier.

  • Accommodations: Upon arrival, guests are provided with a mat and sheet to sleep on. Please remember to bring your own blanket and pillow for added comfort. Camping is allowed during certain weather-permitting retreats.

  • Potluck Dinner (Non-Ayahuasca Retreats): On Friday night, we host a potluck dinner where all guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share. It’s an opportunity to connect and enjoy a variety of delicious meals together.

  • Opening Circle: Following dinner (in non-Ayahuasca retreats), we gather for an opening circle. Here, we discuss the schedule for the weekend, set intentions, and create a sense of community. In Ayahuasca retreats, we proceed directly to the opening circle.

  • Smudging Ceremony: After the opening circle, we conduct a smudging ceremony using smoke from various plants and resins to purify the space and create a sacred atmosphere.

  • Sharing Circle: Following the smudging ceremony, we have a sharing circle where guests get to know one another better. It’s a chance to connect on a deeper level. Additionally, we offer medicines such as rapé, melipona, and sananga during this circle.

  • Winding Down (Ayahuasca Retreats): If it is an Ayahuasca retreat, the first ceremony begins just after the sharing circle. After the close of the ceremony for the night, snacks are served to help guests replenish their energy and nourish their bodies.

  • Winding Down (Non-Ayahuasca Retreats): After the sharing circle and medicine offerings, guests are encouraged to wind down and prepare for the transformative work ahead. Although many choose to stay up late, bonding and chatting with fellow participants.

Saturday: Journey into Healing

  • Morning Activities: Saturday mornings typically offer a range of activities, including cold plunges, yoga, and breakfast. Please note that breakfast is not served on Ayahuasca or San Pedro retreat weekends.

  • Ayahuasca and San Pedro Retreats: For Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies, they begin in the morning when everyone is ready. San Pedro ceremonies extend throughout the day, and a dinner is served afterward. After the Ayahuasca ceremony, a light lunch is provided, followed by a brief rest period. In the evening, the third ceremony begins, and snacks are served afterward.

  • Mushroom Retreats: On Mushroom retreats, we may offer additional activities such as hikes, ear candling, tarot reading, and relaxation time before the evening ceremony. Lunch is served on these retreats, and snacks are served after ceremony.

Sunday: Integration and Reflection

  • Morning: Sunday mornings start with a hearty breakfast to fuel your day.

  • Cacao Ceremony: Following breakfast, we gather for a cacao ceremony to enhance our sense of connection and openness.

  • Integration Circle: After the cacao ceremony, we hold an integration circle to reflect on your experiences and insights gained during the weekend.

  • Group Photo: After integration, we come together for a group photo to capture the memories.

  • Departure: Guests are allowed to leave after the group photo. Kambo is offered if anyone has signed up or made arrangements throughout the weekend. Please note that a Kambo signup sheet is placed somewhere for your convenience.

  • Phone and Key Storage: Before ceremonies, we collect and store phones and keys to create a focused and present environment.

Aftercare and Self-Kindness: We understand that the journey doesn’t end when you leave our retreat. It’s essential to be kind to yourself during your aftercare period, which extends throughout your life. As you reintegrate into the world you came from, remember that things may not be the same, and that’s okay. We encourage you to nurture your well-being and growth.

  • Community Services and Integration: To support you on your ongoing journey, we offer community services with integration sessions every Monday night at 7:30 pm via Zoom. These sessions provide a space for sharing, reflection, and guidance as you continue your path of healing and self-discovery.
